Hello guys.. im just wondering the healing points of the foods.. its my frst time clearing bunker floor 1 and 2.. it cost me 1/4 of an ak only but i spent a lot of foods 10 stacks i guess.. now does anybody know the healing points of food so that i can know which food is more worth it to make?
  2. Carrot stew is the most economical healing food, on par with beef jerky. The wikipedia has the exact values. I will post a link when I get back to my computer.

Oh thank you.. thats what im doing.. but i always see on youtube they only use carrots.. i was wondering if its a good idea to cook it because it consumes wood.. 20hp for carrots stew and 15hp for carrots alone..
  5. It's all about stack economy when you are raiding the bunkers. You want the most dense healing in the smallest stack possible, hence carrot stew (or medical kits if you are willing to pay the premium in materials). Jerky is good also, but meat is harder to acquire than carrots.

Outside of bunker raids, and you want a more economic healing solution. Raw carrots and raw berries work without requiring secondary resources, and if you have to dump a stack to make room for a rare part or extra stack of wood, then no big loss.

So whats your advice for me.. im still level 43 and i played this just 2 days ago.. i cant have enough resources for food.. haha and losing bunker runs each day will make me sad hahaha.. my problem now is really food and rubber parts for generator
  7. Wait, Jerky isn't the economic solution? But you don't have to burn anything...Plus, there's deer and wolves to get meat from. You can get meat from green zones...

Il agree with the jerky because meat can be farmed 6 to 7pcs in 1 run on yellow.. and it doesnt have to be cooked.. now im thinking about not to cook the carrots anymore.. btw i just entered red zoned first time 2 minutes ago.. and wtf the big one rushes to me immediately.. i cannot do anything but to run.. how can you clear that red zone with the big one attacking like wtf!!
  9. The Big One is a random spawn in red and yellow zones (albeit more frequent than not in red). Just have to keep trying your luck.

Looking at the wiki, it takes a lot of time to prep for carrots as well...

  10. So, this is a matter of perspectives. It is the most economic resource wise, but more costly time wise as you have to actively farm across multiple zones to get a full stack of 20. Meanwhile, carrot seed drops are more plentiful while also getting another valuable resource, and once planted require no more time besides harvesting and starting the cook. So, carrot stew is more economical time wise.

To be honest, the resource and time requirement are so small compared between them that I consider them equal. However, I always end up with a lot more carrot stew than jerky at the end of the day.

  11. Like the others have mentioned above, definitely start making stacks of carrot stew and beef jerky. If you have extra cloth I'd recommend making some bandages as well.

My stacks is always short because of bunker run.. i was playing less thank a week but in this new account is 1.5days old still.. i cant have thlse resources for everyday bunker run .. and most of all the rubber parts.. like wtf where am i suppose to get those 10 per day.. and how am i to save fpr the chopper and the gunsmith
  13. The rubber o-rings? Those can be found in green areas. I usually find 2-5 of them between all of the chests. It's not easy it takes a lot of grinding but you'll get there.

The gunsmith bench and crafting guns is pretty much impossible at this time. You can do it but it needs lits of bunker floor and red zone grinding.

Same thing goes to the chopper and atv

  17. What level are you? I know your profile says 46 but that might be out of date. If I were in your position I would concentrate more on getting stacks of the items rather than immediately using them in the bunker. As of right now I have 3 stacks of o-rings just from doing daily grinds.
